Preliminary schedule

Young Scientist Conference covers polymer science from fundamentals to applications: Synthesis of polymers, polymer architecture, processing, theory and characterization, interfaces, supramolecular chemistry. The program will consist of oral presentations of young scientists 20 minutes long (including discussion) and posters.
Scientific Topics Covered
  • Polymer networks and gels
  • Polymer nanocomposites for biomedical application
  • Stimuli responsive polymers for optoelectronics, sensing and actuators
  • Conductive polymers
  • Polymer materials from renewable resources
  • Nanofillers: carbon nanotubes, graphene and nanofibres
  • Nanostructured coatings and adhesives
  • Advanced characterization techniques
  • Mathematical modelling of processes and properties

The events will begin in the afternoon on Sunday 22th April 2012 and end at 7 pm on Tuesday 24th April 2012.
